These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of brand new and refurbished electronic devices from Kobsilgadgets, including mobile phones (iPhone, Samsung), game consoles, and accessories. By purchasing through our website or via our corporate hire purchase scheme, you agree to the terms outlined below.

     2. Eligibility for Hire Purchase

     2.1 Corporate Workers Only

The hire purchase scheme is exclusively available to salaried corporate employees whose employers support payroll deduction arrangements.

     2.2 Payment Duration

Payments are spread over 3 to 6 months through salary deductions before the salary hits your account.

     2.3 Documentation Required

To qualify, customers must submit:

• A valid national ID
• Proof of employment
• A signed hire purchase agreement
• Consent form authorizing salary deductions

    3. Pricing

    3.1 Competitive Market Rates

All products are sold at competitive market prices. Hire purchase prices may differ slightly from outright payment prices due to financing considerations.

    3.2 Outright Purchases

Customers who choose to pay in full at the time of purchase will receive a discounted rate compared to the hire purchase price. 

   4. Product Conditions

   4.1 Brand New vs Refurbished

• Brand New items are factory-sealed and unused
• Refurbished items are tested, certified by Phonecheck, and include a 6-month warranty.
• Devices are graded (e.g., "Very Good") based on cosmetic condition.

   4.2 Transparency Guarantee

"What You See Is What You Get" – all items are displayed with accurate photos and details to ensure trust and satisfaction.

   5. Product Delivery

Orders made through the website can be delivered door-to-door at an extra fee. Delivery timelines may vary by location.

    5.2 Order Confirmation

Once an order is placed, a confirmation email will be sent. Orders are considered binding once payment or a signed hire agreement is received.

    6. Returns and Exchanges

    6.1 Eligibility

    Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for:

• Defective products
• Items not matching their description

    6.2 Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for products damaged due to customer mishandling or misuse.

    7. Warranty

All refurbished phones from Kobsilgadgets come with a 6-month limited warranty.
The warranty covers manufacturer-related defects including:

• Speaker issues
• Mouthpiece malfunction
• Charging port faults
• Haptic feedback (vibration) failure
• Volume buttons
• Power button

   7.2 Non-Eligibility

The warranty does not cover:

• Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents, screen discoloration)
• Water or liquid damage
• Damage due to misuse, drops, or unauthorized repairs
• Battery performance degradation due to normal use

This warranty applies only to refurbished devices purchased directly from Kobsilgadgets and is void if the device is tampered with, mishandled, or opened by an unauthorized party.
 

    8. Default on Hire Purchase

Failure to comply with the agreed salary deductions may result in:

• Immediate termination of the hire purchase agreement
• Legal recovery of the device or outstanding amount

    9. Privacy Policy

All customer data, including salary and employment details, are stored securely and used solely for processing orders and managing hire purchase agreements.

   10. Modifications to Terms

 Kobsilgadgets reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and are binding once posted.
